Well I guess I should give a short update on how things are going, since I haven't written anything in a couple of weeks. So the last couple of weeks have actually been plagued with parties, but it seems like everybody has a reason for throwing one. Birthdays, farewell parties, marriages are among the most common excuses.. It has been fun though and I've been to some cool new places, bars, restaurants, etc. For example the Standard hotel, which is a must see place when visiting LA and learning about the nightlife here. But perhaps the most memorable party was at the LA County Museum of Art (LACMA). Once a year the museum is open till 3am, and several halls in this gigantic museum are turned into dance floors and bars. There were thousands of people there, live bands, artistic acts, dances, and exhibitions. It was a pretty surreal being surrounded by some famous masterpieces while partying.
Yesterday I went to the last salsa class of 6. I had however missed the four previous ones, i.e. I only attended the first and the last class. Apparently people had learned a lot of things in the last four classes, and I was completely out of beat with them. I was quite horrible, and my poor dancing partner had to guide me through everything. It was however fun.. and I look forward to practicing with Dorte when she comes back.

Vow - yeh what a nice place to throw a party, probably a little mystical as well (as surreal).
I can just imagine how you were in the last salsa class - but do you really think you would have been any better if you had attended the 4 you missed :-) ha ha.
Hilsen fra Island ... sorry Benidorm .. or something like that as it has been incredible hot here for the last 2-3 weeks ... like 15-18 and sunny almost every day - can you ask for more .... in Iceland.
Hmm, yes, seems that LA does look better through drunken eyes :-)
